…Distributes Food Items To Orphans On Nigeria 60th Independence Anniversary
A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon.Shamsudeen Bello Dambazau representing Sumaila/Takai Federal Constituency of Kano State has urged the wealthy people to extend the hands of support to the less privilege in the society as he puts smiles on the faces of some orphans in the state by distributing some food items and provision to motherless home.
Hon. Shamsudeen Dambazau who made the gesture when he visited an orphanage home in Kano to commemorate October 1st Independence anniversary of Nigeria,said there was no better way to celebrate Nigeria at 60 than coming to support Motherless home.
Kano Reps member, Hon.Shamsudeen who was represented by his personal assistant on Political Affairs, Hafiz Mohammad while talking to the custodian of the orphanage home said ” what our society needs is more people like you for taking responsibility of less privilege, abandoned and neglected, I believe our society will be a better place”.
He commended the motherless homes caregivers for the good work they are doing, saying such people need to be encouraged and supported to do more.
The reps member used the occasion to call on wealthy Nigerians to emulate the good gesture.
Among the items distributed for the orphans include tin milks, toothpastes, noodles, Spaghetti, Maggi to mention a few.
The Orphanage Visit Initiative ( OVI ) is a concept of Hon. Shamsudeen Dambazau to reach out to the less privilege in the society.
